Sleep is an essential part of our daily lives. It is a necessity for survival, and if done properly can leave you feeling energetic, recharged, and ready to take on the next day. But what if you don’t get enough sleep? What if you want to get enough sleep but cannot due to anxiety and depression?
Here is a little story about something personal I went through not too long ago-
The vicious and poor sleep cycle routine was one I practiced on a nightly basis. Since leaving the Marine Corps, I always had trouble with sleep, and now being in federal law enforcement it’s not much different. The weekend was the easy part because then my destructive habits were just a “social thing". I could drink myself to the point of inebriation and not have to wake up for work the next day, too easy! Now the weekdays were a different story... I had to wake up early for work but knew I could not show up hammered. So, what was I to do? Benadryl and whiskey were my favorite mixture. One that I could get a good buzz with, numb the pain, and then fall asleep before I could pour another drink. When I awoke, I would often feel groggy and hungover. This routine which is common among people like us comes with a list of negative side effects; daytime drowsiness, short-term memory loss, confusion, etc. This is not an effective solution for sleep issues.
I needed to find a way out of this routine and formulate a healthier sleep routine so I wouldn't feel like shit every morning so we partnered with our friends at Hunterseven Foundation, a veteran-founded non-profit which specializes in medical research. When talking with them I realized that I was not alone. Many veterans were going through the same thing I was going through, having trouble sleeping. So, we teamed up to find a solution, something that would help people like me be able to fall asleep in a healthy non-habit-forming way.
So went to work and after a year and a half of thorough research and testing....Rack Out was created. Rack Out has been a lifesaver for me personally.
Instead of reaching for the bottle, I reach for my Rack Out.
Most of the time I warm it up so I can sip on it like a warm and relaxing tea. Once I finish it, I find myself calm, and tired, ready for bed. The next day I wake up feeling refreshed and ready to go. No more drowsiness for half the day and no more dreaded hangovers. Since releasing Rack Out, my sleep has improved tremendously. It has been amazing and inspiring to hear the countless stories of the success that Rack Out has played in people’s nightly routines and its positive effect on their sleep. Rack Out was formulated to be powerful enough for our community and easily enjoyed by everyone.
